Soil Fungal Community and Potential Function in Different Forest Ecosystems

چکیده
Forests acting as carbon storage and sequestration play an essential role in the global nutrient cycle, which fungi are active participants. The forests cover almost all regions from boreal, temperate to subtropical tropical forests. relative proportion of sequestrated forest soil varies approximately 85% terrestrial pool boreal 60% 50% rainforests. Fungi decomposers organic matter root-associated mediators belowground transport respiration key drivers cycle For example, saprophytic can degrade release into soil, whereas symbiotic could form symbiosis with plants, through plant benefit each other flow. Given importance ecological environment, this paper summarizes terms fungal diversity function ecosystems.

Soil Bacterial Community Structure Responses to Precipitation Reduction and Forest Management in Forest Ecosystems across Germany
Soil microbial communities play an important role in forest ecosystem functioning, but how climate change will affect the community composition and consequently bacterial functions is poorly understood. We assessed the effects of reduced precipitation with the aim of simulating realistic future drought conditions for one growing season on the bacterial community and its relation to soil propert...
متن کاملForest Management Type Influences Diversity and Community Composition of Soil Fungi across Temperate Forest Ecosystems
Fungal communities have been shown to be highly sensitive toward shifts in plant diversity and species composition in forest ecosystems. However, little is known about the impact of forest management on fungal diversity and community composition of geographically separated sites. This study examined the effects of four different forest management types on soil fungal communities. These forest m...
متن کاملExperimental warming alters potential function of the fungal community in boreal forest.
Fungal community composition often shifts in response to warmer temperatures, which might influence decomposition of recalcitrant carbon (C). We hypothesized that evolutionary trade-offs would enable recalcitrant C-using taxa to respond more positively to warming than would labile C-using taxa. Accordingly, we performed a warming experiment in an Alaskan boreal forest and examined changes in th...
متن کاملDominant Tree Species and Soil Type Affect the Fungal Community Structure in a Boreal Peatland Forest.
Boreal peatlands play a crucial role in global carbon cycling, acting as an important carbon reservoir. However, little information is available on how peatland microbial communities are influenced by natural variability or human-induced disturbances. In this study, we have investigated the fungal diversity and community structure of both the organic soil layer and buried wood in boreal forest ...
